After immigrating from Greece to the United States in 1969, Argirios “Argi” Giannakaris followed his passion for food, becoming a chef to provide for his family. He used this experience to open his first restaurant – the Covered Wagon of Bristol, Pennsylvania – in 1978, which was followed by Country House Restaurant in West Deptford, New Jersey in 1988.
